Richard Crookes Construction / Upper Car park, Taronga Zoo: As part of the construction of a new multi-storey car park structure, native themed landscape works were undertaken to maintain the landscape character of the site. The scope of works included stabilised decocomposed granite & paved pedestrian pathways, sandstone boulder & gabion wall construction, native gardens consisting of established tree, shrub & groundcover plantings, linked by a specially designed automatic irrigation system. Timber finished ancillary items such as bollards & seats installed in various locations also formed part of this project.
