City of Sydney / Wentworth Park Upgrade Stage 1, Glebe: The scope of work for this project focussed on improving pedestrian access and providing better views across the park. As shown in photographs upgrade works consisted of the removal the boundary wall along Wattle Street, creating a new 2m high boundary fence to match the new fencing along Wentworth Park Road which provides better views from the street into the park, installing new toilets and change rooms, grading and adding new turf & gardens between Wattle Street and the new boundary, Retaining and securing the ‘Chapel’ building which is a heritage item and Opening up the rest of the Wentworth Park viaduct arches to provide clear views across the park and improve connections for pedestrians.

Residential Unit Development, Forster, NSW – A challenging project in the sense that Majority of work was on a raised podium/slab with material requiring to be craned onto site. As photographs show the works consisted of paving, drainage, soil preparation, planting & turfing with irrigation, timber decks & a specifically designed water feature system.

New Bull Elephant Facility, Taronga Zoo NSW: Again Hargraves Landscapes was proudly part of the construction of this new facility. We were required to import over a thousand tonne of certified material to create the exercise yards & main exhibition paddocks. Both areas had special water bodies, earth mounds and a mud baths integrated into the landscape, finished with Hydro seeding over all areas. Mass planting was done throughout & along the 3 metre control zones with an automatic irrigation system designed &installed to all areas.

Cabravale/Cabramatta Leisure Centre Development – During & after photographs below showing the feature concrete courtyard constructed as part of this project. The stages consisted of fabricating & welding together on-site an architectural designed feature steel pattern, secured to the slab beneath. Next stage involved pouring three specified coloured mixes & carefully honing the finished surface. Adjacent works also included unit paving to the entrance areas to the left & further coloured concrete surface works with adjacent planting in between.
